Well-traveled, cultured, and gorgeous, Meiling Jin is definitely a figure - and a face - to remember. Born and raised in Northern China until the age of 15, Meiling came to the United States in 2007 and finally settled in Chicago. During her transition from China to the States, she became enamored with capturing her experiences, insights, and observations through her writing and photography.

Currently a Communications and Journalism student in Chicago, Meiling diligently focuses her time and effort to learning about her surroundings while striving to capture the essence of what it means to be a Chicagoan.

While still learning about her surroundings, Meiling is known to be quite the interviewer and takes her work quite seriously. Aside from asking the essential questions to ensure she has the proper scope on a diverse array of issues across Chicago and beyond, she is a style and fashion icon. Her stories have appeared on the Qzone QQ web service and the online version of the China Daily.

Meiling's beauty and sculpted figure represent her assertive attitude towards accomplishing her goals while also staying true to health and wellness. When she is not writing - both in Chinese and in English - about American lifestyle and society, current events, or restaurant reviews, Meiling enjoys giving back. Philanthropy and reaching out to those in need is a passion of hers while also showcasing ways others can get involved.

Marc Jérôme, a native of Berlin and the most recent-addition to PdM's Global Model Series, discussed work, travel, and aspiration goals with the team. Last week, he participated in a Berlin Fashion Week event where he showcased the latest in European style along with his best assets.

In addition to being a model and actor, Marc Jérôme is currently finishing up his college career, focusing on business and economics. He mentioned in a recent interview that he hopes, with the support of his girlfriend, to travel the world and develop a business catered to models and aspiring talent. Quite the business-oriented beau, Marc Jérôme knows that hard work and dedication are a must to success.

While friends and family may know him for his perseverance, many recognize him for his looks. According to our viewership, some of Marc Jérôme's best features include his eyes and smile, attributing a very welcoming glow. What do you think?

Goals: After my studying, I want to go abroad, especially to the USA or to the Emirates with my girlfriend. We would like to work in either location for a big company. My girlfriend is also working in a model business during her freetime, so we would like to develop this industry a bit further.

Favorite Cuisine: Mexican

Favorite Cocktail: Sorry, but I don't drink alcohol.

Role Model: My parents and my uncle, because they have been freelancers over 20 years. My parents are my role models because they worked very hard for their success. They don't have so much free time these days, but I still admire their perseverance. My uncle is also my role model due to the fact that he worked at IBM and traveled all around the world. If I ask him anything, he probably knows it and could explain it to me.

Hobbies: Gym, basketball, theater, organizing diverse events, scouting models, modeling.

How did you get involved in modeling: It was sheer luck. One of my friends registered on a modeling page and he told me something about it. Soon after, I registered on the same site and the rest is history.

What is your daily routine: Normally, I get up at 7 a.m and then I have to go to my university till 3.30 p.m. After, I study for some time then hit the gym. If I find myself working during the week, I have to be up by 6. a.m and work till 5 p.m.

For a male model, what is essential to succeed in the industry: Perfect charisma is essential and you should be versatile. A very important fact: you have to be real and not arrogant, no matter how successful you become.

What are some of your goals for 2013: I am determined to finish my university exams.

What is the best modeling gig/opportunity you've had so far: I will go to Brazil for a few days to engage in a catwalk show for American Crew.

Where would you like to travel for work: All over the world, because I like different cultures and would like to see how people around the world live.

Best thing about Berlin: I love Berlin so much. In this city, you have so many opportunities and different kinds of people - it's amazing.

One thing you would change in Berlin/Germany: The inequality between the rich and the poor.

What is your impression of Chicago: I've heard it is the third biggest city in the USA. Chicago is a very big business hub with one of the biggest market exchanges: the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Any wisdom/words of inspiration for our viewers/readers: Pursuit your goals consistently. If you want to be successful, you have to work harder than most other people.

As Marc Jérôme prepares to finish his exams this February, he knows the road ahead will be a challenging yet fun one. PdM believes that Marc Jérôme will be up to some great things very soon, and somehow we feel this won't be the last time we hear from our Berlin friend.

A la veille de la nouvelle année, Emma était prêt à commencer son photoshoot. Cette belle jeune femme de Lyon ambitionne de devenir un top model à Paris. "Ma mère a toujours dit que le style et la beauté sont les clés du succès", elle dit à PdM. "Cependant, elle m'a toujours encouragée à devenir plus intelligents que lui, à penser plus comme un homme."

Emma décrit 3 de ses activités préférées: la couture, le jogging et la cuisine. Elle admet que, en grandissant, elle n'était pas une enfant très athlétique. "J'étais assez lourd pour dire le moins," admit-elle avec une légère rougeur de son visage. "Mon père m'a appris à faire la cuisine et j'ai appris très bien!"

Ces jours-ci, Emma ne pas faire des folies sur les crêpes ou les décadents de fast-food. Au lieu de cela, elle se concentre sur la saine alimentation et le maintien d'une belle peau. Elle fonctionne comme un sèche-modèle pour une boutique locale et estime qu'il s'agit d'une excellente occasion pour elle. "Je veux devenir un modèle d'impression, un jour," sourit-elle. "Est-ce que PdM m'aider à y arriver?"

Emma est une belle femme avec un look très envoûtant. Ses yeux captent votre regard et vous tenez jusqu'à ce qu'elle estime nécessaire. Cette beauté est de 5'7 pouces et dispose d'un cadre sportif: très féminine et forte à la fois. PdM demandé Emma ce qu'elle considère comme son favori partie du corps. "Sur moi, ou sur les hommes?" Emma en riant. "Je crois que les gens d'abord remarquer mes yeux, puis mes lèvres parce qu'ils sont pleins. Cependant, chez un homme, je crois que la caractéristique la plus attrayante sont ses lèvres, puis sa poitrine."

Après avoir terminé le photoshoot avec Emma, elle se détendit sur ​​le canapé et est devenu très à l'aise. Son doux sourire et sa personnalité aimable fera d'elle une sensation, si elle choisit de poursuivre une carrière de mannequin ou de la piste d'impression.

Our global model campaign for 2013 has begun, and Michal is one of our international faces to remember. Michal G., a 22 year-old university student from the Czech Republic, is an aspiring international model who hopes to one day make it big in the US of A.

In his late teens, he began to model after his girlfriend encouraged him to do so. Now, he is looking to expand his modeling work into other markets, such as runways and photo-shoots.

"I am focused on achieving success," Michal has stated. "I put passion and energy into my work." His portfolio speaks for itself and his perseverance allows him to seek opportunities in new, exciting places.

In the dead of winter, there are only a few things that can keep one warm and cozy: his gaze is one of them. Rumor has it that in the next few weeks there will be much more to see from Michal, so stay tuned.
