On January 6th, the Mexican community (along with Latinos, Latin Americans, and many Catholics everywhere) celebrate the 3 King's Day in honor of the holiday season. Join the FREE rendezvous on January 4th, 2014 from 2pm-5pm at 3415 W. Belmont and be prepared to enjoy some sweet treats, spicy Mexican hot chocolate, and wonderful company. Azucar boasts the biggest rosca in Chicago, and notable individuals and their families will be present to enjoy the holiday's development.
Sandy Cakes of Sandy Cakes Couture Confections and Jorge G. Zavala, Candidate for Congressman of the 4th Congressional District of Illinois will host the highly-anticipated rendezvous. "This is a wonderful opportunity to get the community together to both honor our traditions and celebrate our neighbors, friends, family, and great local businesses," Zavala stated. "We will have hot chocolate, pan dulce, rosca de reyes, and a wonderful and exuberant clown that is great with children and adults. We will also have balloons, music, and tons of free goodies for everyone to enjoy."
Children will have the opportunity to receive FREE toys, which is part of the Mexican tradition.
