Ready to shine in style at this year's Sparkle and Shine Gala at The Drake Hotel Chicago?
For the past 15 years, Girls on the Run-Chicago has been helping thousands of girls become healthier, stronger, and more confident members of their communities. This year the program is on track to serve nearly 8,000 girls at more than 300 sites across Chicagoland!
All funds raised at the Sparkle & Shine Gala underwrite scholarships for Girls on the Run participants and supports program expansion in low-income communities.
Over 500 GOTRC fans, friends and healthy lifestyles enthusiasts are expected to attend the gala on Friday, November 21, 2014 from 8 p.m. to Midnight. [Check out our coverage from previous GOTRC].
The Drake Hotel, located on 140 East Walton Street, is the premier location for the affair, which always draws a spectacular crowd.
Succulent Wine, beer and cocktails, passed hors d’oeuvres, and live music courtesy of Spoken Four will be present in addition to live and silent auctions featuring the best items in sports, fitness, food and travel! PdM will be present to showcase some amazing people doing great things in our city, so come out and have a ball!
