CHICAGO - Courage, sophistication, and passion—these are only three of the most common words used to describe the high-end fashion line Maison De LaCour (MDLC). On Tuesday, October 16th 2012, MDLC and Luxury Management (LUX MGT) will present a dramatic Fashion Focus Chicago production of a lifetime to benefit the American Cancer Society—a cause bent on bringing hope to those who also show immense courage: cancer survivors and those still fighting this life-threatening disease.
Staged inside the Murphy Auditorium--one of Chicago’s most beautiful and historic buildings—MDLC will present “The Immaculate One.” Choreographed by the critically-acclaimed Yana German, this will not be your typical runway show.
Not only will models present MDLC’s new ready-to-wear line with pageantry set to the music of “Bohemian Rhapsody,” but the intermission will include a special modern ballet performance. For the grand finale, models will unveil MLDC’s much-anticipated spring 2013 collection for men and women—a bold line that embraces the edge of youthful individualism while maintaining a timeless elegance.
Chicago’s most fashionable and most charitable will come together for this unforgettable black tie affair that includes live performances, treats by Sugar Hills Bakery, a cocktail reception, and a contribution to the American Cancer Society’s $5,000 fundraising goal.
This will be the third installment of LUX MGT’s signature series and their most theatrical and perfected show yet—“The Immaculate One".
