Artwork by local artist and industry insider Jorge G. Zavala. Some of Zavala's pieces, reflecting his life, work, and travels across Asia, will be showcased. His collection of paintings and drawings have been displayed in Chicago, Bangkok, Tokyo, Berlin, and Toronto.
CHICAGO - Join Prestige du Monde (PdM) for the Art Showcase presented by Columbia College of Chicago's Latino Alliance!
This is an event for local artists to showcase their art, including but not limited to photography, videos, installations, paintings, graphite drawings, and more. The art showcase allows artist to be recognized for their work and display it to a variety of people. This event brings a diverse atmosphere that is filled with culture, art, and socializing.
The Art Showcase will take place on Friday, March 22nd, 2013 from 7pm-10pm at La Casa de Arte y Cultura Calles y Sueños-Chicago, located on 1900 S. Carpenter, Chicago, IL 60608.
In addition to wonderful artwork, including several graphite drawings by PdM's very own Jorge G. Zavala, music, graphics, films, photos, dances, and networking will take place throughout the evening.
