Chicago's very own Candid Concert Opera held "The Magic Flute", an opera in two acts by Mozart to a German libretto by Emanuel Schikaneder, at Stan Mansion on May 8th, 2013. The Candid Concert Opera, which is focused on increasing the understanding, implementing, and appreciation of classical opera to the greater Chicago community, allowed guests to feel both welcomed and included in the artistic developments of the evening.
Throughout the evening, a diverse crowd of attendees mingled, networked, and discussed the beautiful sounds of the orchestra, which included the enchanting song of Hiko Hagopian's flute and the energetic essence of Chelsea Morris' voice.

The Magic Flute premiered in Vienna in 1791 and, since then, it has captured the hearts of many. Miss Heart of Illinois 2013 Marisa Buchheit embraces the mission and vision of the CCO and acts with grace while educating guests on the culture of opera, which guests appreciated. In addition to serving as a prominent figure within this vibrant community, Marisa was also responsible for the evening's wonderful developments.
