She was always a good girl, never let her name down. She was a good pupil to her teachers, a good daughter to her parents. She never talked back to them. She believed that disrespecting her parents was one of the worst possible things to do.
People say that since she was an infant she didn’t cry. She liked to be called a good girl. When she went to school, she listened to her teachers' each and every word. She always received good grades and made herself an excellent student. Teachers loved her but her classmates hated her. She was bullied all the time but she never spoke about that at family dinner.
Then, she passed her senior year of high school with good grades. Soon after, she went to some famous university. She fell in love with a boy but she was too shy to let her love be shown on her face. She peeked at him and felt satisfied with that. She loved her roommate and would tell her secrets which included her crush on the boy. She considered this women her best friend. She thought her days in university were so joyful compared with high school. She studied hard. She fell in love and dreamt about him every night. It seemed that her life had a little bit of heaven.

She thought her days in university were so joyful compared with high school. She studied hard. She fell in love and dreamt about him every night. It seemed that her life had a little bit of heaven.

Then, time passed. She graduated from university. On her graduation day, she decided to let the boy know about her love. She prepared some lines to say, how to act in front of him and all. She was so excited. The day came so quickly. She dressed like she never did before, and even wore make up. When she received her certificate, she posed for the camera and took a few photos with it. She went into the crowd and started to find him. She finally found him but, to her surprise, he was with her roommate kissing in the parking lot. He did not see her. Even if he saw her, he wouldn’t know it was her: he never noticed her. She saw her roommate winking at her while they were kissing. She felt so lost, ran back home in the rain without her umbrella.
Time passed.
She worked for renowned firm with a great salary. Her life seemed to be happy but only she knows she hasn’t even lost her first kiss yet. Her life is dull and painful. She received the wedding invitation from her roommate and the boy. She didn’t complain. She has never complained, has she? She went to the wedding, put the wedding present silently on a table next to the various gifts, and left the wedding. It hurt her but she didn’t speak. She hadn’t smiled for years.
When she was 29, her parents planned a wedding. They'd arranged a suitor for her, but she didn’t want to marry a guy she'd never seen. Who wants that? However, she nodded her head in agreement to her mother’s idea, for she is a good girl. She was soon married to a famous lawyer. Many people envied her, wanted to be her. Deep down, only she knows she is sad.
Three years after their marriage, her husband cheated on her. She pretended she did not know. A son was born and her lonely nights started. She didn’t complain. She retired from her job when her son was 6. She spent almost all her time raising her son. Her son grew well: he went to law school like his father did, graduated, and married a wealthy, beautiful woman.
When she was 65, she got paralysis and has been lying on her bed for the last 4 months. Her husband barely comes to visit, but her son comes often with his wife and son. She can’t speak at all; she is not much of a speaker these days.
Then, one night, she died with her mouth shut but eyes wide open. Her eyes, bulging slightly and appearing sad, long to share her story.
