CHICAGO - The rhythm of the night will consist of Russian cellist Ian Maksin and Bulgarian pianist Ani Gogova as they soothe audiences with flavors of their latest album, "Tango Plus". This album is a compilation of passionate music inspired by the theme of Tango, Flamenco and other rhythms from Latin America and Spain uniquely arranged for Cello and Piano, as well as works commissioned from a Chicago composer Ilya Levinson by iAN&ANi.
On October 10th, an intimate concert is taking place at the Old Town School of Folk Music, which includes pieces by Abigail Simon, Lucas Segovia and Kara Zimmerman from the Joffrey Ballet; Jorge Niedas and Liz Sung from Tango 21 dance company as well as soprano Marisa Buchheit, who also holds the title of Miss Chicago 2012.
