CHICAGO - “Be the Change” Fall Fashion Celebration: a special fashion forward event celebrating fall trends & bringing awareness to the Big Shoulders Fund.
Miss Illinois, United States 2012, Nancy To will host the "Be the Change" event on Thursday, November 15th at Crescendo - located at 222 W Ontario, Chicago, IL 60654. The bash benefits the Big Shoulders Fund, which supports Catholic schools in the some of the most impoverished areas of inner-city Chicago. Nancy educates young minds working as a science teacher at one of the Big Shoulders Fund's supported school - Josephinum Academy, an all girl college preparatory school. Her work at Josephinum has given her first hand insight into how important the Big Shoulders Fund is to the Chicagoland community and its impact on changing the future of local youth.
"Be the Change" kicks off at 7pm with swag bag giveaways to the first 100 guests and a hosted cocktail hour by EC Charro Tequila and Drunken Pig. The night continues with a fashion show hosted by NBC’s Natalie Martinez and Miss Illinois US. Models will showcase the latest fall fashions by Stix & Roses, Tel Aviv Couture, Sadhna Fashions, La Chambre d’Anit, and StyleUp Girl. La Chambre d'Anit is showcasing hip, couture wear and unveiling one of its newest, much-anticipated designs on the runway.
The night continues until 10PM with raffle drawings and music courtesy of DJ Kamil from kbe entertainment and video mixing specialist DJ Sohbash.
Doors open at 7pm, with the cocktail reception beginning soon after.
